The corner of 2nd South and 3rd West has never looked so good. Intimate seating and comfortable atmosphere.

The excitement of getting the Chef Lee Lei who grew up in northern China and has developed his own techniques for preparing traditional Chinese dishes, has left us disappointed with Xiao Li's. The blending of Chinese art into a contemporary setting, the arrangement of the wood tables and chairs, and the absence of music are well suited to business meetings and quiet conversation. The menu has everything from happy family in a shredded potato basket to sweet and sour pork to Peking duck (order in advance).

So why the disappointment? Well, it's not the lack of descisions but the food sorry to say was lacking. We found it to be rather bland with no real excitement or joy, Maybe we've just been spoiled, but the spring rolls, lightly fried and served with a spicy ginger sauce, I am sorry they just don't compare to those of Café Trang's.
