This little joint loacated near the pie. Great college atmosphere and fits the college finances well.
The "scenery" here is pretty decent, of course it is near the University. Just one restaurant down from the Pie this Asian experience lives up to it's name. I am not sure if it's because of the express of the food or the dash to the restroom afterwards. Having been on a request from the tight budgeted we decided to search for the $5 lunch.(side note: you get what you pay for.) College students are always in search of a meal that fits within their budget so we hit the streets of the local University to find this modest chinese restraunt.
The teriyaki chicken bowl was the best deal $5.27 for the chicken and rice ina bowl and a very small beverage. I am not sure what mezmorized me most the sticky white rice the way it is supposed to be or the fact that the teriyaki glaze seemed to be a kind of gel that oozed about like residue from Slimer from Ghostbusters. As I tried to pull a piece of chicken from this sweet teriyaki coccoon it seemed to peel up like the skin on tomato soup that has been sitting for a day.– Funky and Chunky - 2001.08.05
