A beautiful atmosphere with the best food at top dollar. Only the highest recommendations for this swank downtown bistro. Plan on making an evening of it.
If you're in a hurry, P.F. Chang's is not the place, you might as well go to the Panda Express at the food court in the Crossroads mall. We recently had a company swaré of around 18 people, the downside to this is they do not take resevations, nonetheless; we only waited 2 hours during the dinner rush. The wait, no matter how long or short, is beyond well worth it. Not a typical Chinese menu listing hundreds of entrées—P.F. Chang's concentrates on appetizers, salads, chicken, and seafood, with only a few beef and pork selections Consider the daily specials, which may include crab wontons or Szechwan asparagus. The spicy chicken in lettuce wraps, orange-peel shrimp, and Szechwan-style long beans are signature dishes.
The atmosphere is open and the decor is incredible, with enormous oriental style lighting and large statues on either side. It is not an intimate atmosphere, but the conversation is comfortable. Please do yourself a favor and do not bring any one not versed in proper Chinese Restraunt etiquette. Our pet peeve is the buffoon who isn't familiar with the sharing of the entrées. You can't get a combo meal with us!
