After a nice respectful tour of the USS Arizona, one builds an appetite; not necessarily cured by the on-location sweaty ham sandwich with mayo and a grab bag of chips from the snack shack, but something a bit more substantial. Come on!... Who's saying KFC or BK?... For shame! You are in historic Pearl City. Where do the locals go for some good grinds? Of course... Boston Pizza that sounds local. Well this locally owned and operated redesigned pizza hut is a blessing to pizza lovers, they make "Super Sized 19-inch, 3-pound Pizzas" in the proud Boston tradition which is the best pizza in Hawaii.
A display case of fresh made pizzas are as welcoming as walking into your favorite doughnut shop. You'll find nothing but fresh, natural ingredients in each and every pie which are baked to order. None of this Hawaiian Special at most places, they have 3 kinds of pineapple topped pizzas along with delicious spinach, tomato, and garlic healthy pizzas and of course the Boston special was a favorite. There are always a number of specials and unique creations, providing a new reason to return every day of the week.
Just be careful as you order a pizza by the slice. Remember they use Hawaiian measurements so as you see them pull out the 19" pizza and slice a quarter of it off, that's your slice. Luckily they'll cut it in half for you so you can eat it safely.– Funky - 2012.04.05
